Healing Care Group

Healing Care Groups are sixteen-week small group experiences focused on cultivating safe and meaningful community in which you can journey with others towards deeper healing in Christ. Using the Healing Care Ministries model, small groups of four to six women meet weekly with trained leaders to gain a deeper understanding of their life stories, explore how past hurts are playing out in the present day, and learn to abide with Jesus in ways that make room for Him to come near with His transforming love.

From Strength to Strength

From Strength to Strength offers women who have participated in an Awaken & Abide group or study ongoing opportunity to find strength and refreshment for the journey forward. Meeting the third Thursday of each month, you are invited back into caring community with others walking forward in their healing journey with Jesus. The monthly From Strength to Strength gatherings will bring you a mix of teaching, experientials, spiritual engagement, and opportunity for meaningful connection with others familiar with the Healing Care way.

Rooted: a spirtual formation journey

Rooted groups, designed by Healing Care Ministries, invite men, women, couples, and singles on a ten-month journey of spiritual formation. Through a small community of eight to twelve people, you’ll be led into a deeper walk with God towards a more vibrant spiritual life as you grow in experiencing who God really is and who you really are in Christ. Rooted groups include a mix of weekly teaching and individual reflection exercises, along with monthly group gatherings, that center on the formational themes of Awakening, Abiding, Anointing, Authority, and Action.

Gathering FAQs

+ Learn More about healing care groups

Healing Care Groups are sixteen-week small group experiences focused on emotional, spiritual, and relational healing in Christ. Areas of struggle that may indicate a need for healing include things like difficulty experiencing God’s love, difficulty in embracing one’s true identity in Christ, difficulty loving oneself and others, defeating thought patterns, anxiety, depression, or unhealthy behavior patterns. Healing Care Groups offer participants a safe place to heal from life's hurts and the resulting false beliefs, emotional upheaval, and destructive behaviors that play out in a variety of ways in life.

Each group consists of four to six participants and is led by trained facilitators.

A Healing Care Group weekly session has three main components:

  1. Teaching – a time of introducing and unpacking topics related to the healing journey

  2. Experiential – a hands-on activity time designed to help personalize and internalize the teaching topic

  3. Spiritual – a time of spiritual engagement to help position each participant to be present with Jesus

Some of the themes covered in Healing Care Groups include Image of God, Growing in Trust, The Gift of Lament, Identifying Destructive False Beliefs, Healing From Deep Wounds, Forgiveness, and Celebrating Life in Christ.

+ Learn More About Rooted

Rooted is a 10-month journey of spiritual formation that positions participants to grow in spiritual maturity by being more deeply rooted in Christ. In Rooted, participants walk through 5 A’s of spiritual formation: Awakening, Abiding, Anointing, Authority, and Action.

Rooted groups are comprised of eight to twelve individuals and are led by trained facilitators. Groups typically begin in September and conclude in July.

This formational journey includes three main components:

  1. Daily Personal Engagement with God - five days of Scriptural and reflective exercise each week designed to help you be intentional about connecting with God and the Rooted content on a daily basis
  2. Focused Teaching - short weekly video teachings on topics related to the 5 A's of spiritual formation
  3. Meaningful Community - monthly gatherings with your group to process what you are learning and experiencing with God

Examples of the Rooted weekly themes are Awakening to the Fullness of Christ, Abiding in God's Love, The Inner Work of the Spirit, Confident in Christ, and Out of Being Comes Doing.
